Progress report for the December 28, 2021 mid-week GGRM workday at Schellville

  The December  2 8 th  mid-week GGRM workday was focused on the following items at the Victory Station Yard and the Sonoma Rail storage site at Schellville .   The primary emphasis is on completion of the tasks needed to get the GGRM’s passenger cars ready for operation.   Thanks go out to the GGRM volunteers listed below who helped make the December 28 th  Schellville workday successful:   Seth Adams, Steve Rusconi, Steve Coon, Nico Dacong, David Waterman, Tim Dulin, and Garrett Brisbee.   Below is the progress report for the Saturday’s December  2 8, 2021 workday.   At the Victory Station Yard worksite: The GGRM EIC is required to send a text to NWPCo General Manager Ryan Martin when flag and derail protection has been set at the Victory Station Yard and the north leg of the Schellville wye.   Done, Jim Prettyleaf Hand off all the materials needed to build a replica partition for the #5901 RPO car to Scott Bowdish.   Everything needed make a new partition is now stored in the contai

Progress report for the Saturday's December 18, 2021 GGRM workday at Schellville

  The December 18 th  GGRM workday was focused on the following items at the Victory Station Yard and the Sonoma Rail storage site at Schellville . As previously explained the GGRM’s locomotives have routinely been receiving the necessary levels of inspections and repairs, so the emphasis of Schellville workdays has been shifted to preparing the GGRM’s passenger cars for operation.
